DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn carrier's appetite and select risks appropriately
- Price, quote and bind new and renewal business
- Establish and maintain both external agency relationships and internal relationships with FirstComp sales managers
- Ensure all business is dealt with in a timely manner
- Assist in developing process efficiencies and production objectives
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Minimum 3 years workers' compensation insurance underwriting experience.
- BA / BS in related field.
- Exceptional written & verbal skills
- Supervisor experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with internal and external clients
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
