Catastrophe Modeler I
Under direct supervision, assesses the catastrophe exposure to the Zurich organization. Works closely with business unit and line of business leadership to contribute to their achievement of plan. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies involving catastrophic pricing and the optimization of capital. May provide support to group risk management and reinsurance. Demonstrates knowledge in products and industry. Supports Underwriters and Account Executives on pricing decisions as needed.
- Technical project management experience required
- Insurance experience highly desired
- Catastrophe Modeling experience preferred
- Experience with Visual Basics and Microsoft Office software including MS Access, Excel, Word, and Power Point required
- Experience with RMS RIskLink and RiskBrowser applications preferred
- Strong communication skills are required
